Student Success Center

We believe in our students’ ability to succeed! The Student Success Center provides services, programming, and advocacy to help foster that success. Whether it’s equipping students with basic skills or helping a student reach the next level of their potential, we’re here to support YOU!

Academic Support

The Student Success Center provides subject-specific tutoring as well as general academic support for undergraduate, graduate, and seminary students. We can help you identify your strengths and areas of struggle and then work with you to address your needs: learning how to navigate the institution, learning time management strategies, improving organization skills, getting connected to other resources, and more!

Disability Resources

We want to give all students equal access to a quality education. For that purpose, and in keeping with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Multnomah will provide reasonable academic adjustments in all programs for qualified students with professionally verified disabilities. A policy statement and application forms for accommodations are available in the Student Success Center.

Multicultural Student Engagement

We believe that being a diverse group of Christians is part of the strength of Multnomah University. The Student Success Center provides programming, individual engagement, and advocacy for the needs of our diverse student body.

First Year Experience

Research shows that a student’s first year experience at an institution has a significant impact on their overall engagement and satisfaction with their collegiate experience. For this reason, the Student Success Center invests deeply in planning New Student Orientations and other programming for our first-year students.

CLEP Testing

Multnomah University provides students the opportunity to earn college credit by demonstrating proficiency in college-level courses through the College Level Examination Program (CLEP). Students may earn up to 30 semester credit hours through CLEP by achieving the minimum credit-granting score. Students should consult their academic advisor before taking a CLEP exam to ensure the subject area will fulfill a degree requirement. For more information on using CLEP to fulfill college credits, please contact the Registrar's office. You may find CLEP testing sites at: https://clep.collegeboard.org/test-center-search
