Vocational Discipleship and Career Services

Multnomah University's department of Vocational Discipleship and Career Service's mission is to equip and empower students to discover their vocational calling and launch careers of impact.

They do that by providing students with individual coaching and discipleship, career counseling, and services and resources for job search and workplace skills.  Services begin during a student’s first semester and continue after graduation as alumni.

Vocational Discipleship and Career Services staff teach the general education "Career Development" class in which students are given the opportunity to understand the theology of work, discern and discover potential career paths, and practice job search and on-the-job skills like resume and cover letter writing, interviewing, online personal branding and more.
