AVS 110 Survey of Aviation
An introduction to the field of aviation with a review of historical aviation events as well as contemporary topics. Examines a spectrum of aviation careers while including an overview of aeronautical terminology. This course introduces students to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Parts 61 and 91 of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), the Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).
