BIB 824 History of OT Scholarship and Interpretation

This course traces the origins, developments and key figures related to the history of OT interpretive methods and criticism from ancient to contemporary periods. Students will investigate how influential scholars have proposed strategies for handling the text of the Hebrew Bible. Offered alternate years.
