BIO 211 General Biology I

This course introduces students to a study of the cellular basis of organisms. Topics will include the chemical properties of biological molecules, cellular structure and function, bioenergetics, and the genetic basis of inheritance. Unicellular organisms will also be studied. Weekly laboratory activities will help students develop scientific reasoning skills.
