DM 830 Writing for Practical Ministry
This online once credit course is recommended for all students in preparation for their final project. It can be taken at any time during the first three years of the program but its most natural place would be in the third year as the students's research and ministry are focused towards their final project. Writing for practical ministry demands not only solid research, and a strong biblical/theological foundation, but also a clear and accessible style that communicates beyond the academy to the church. This course will cover research methods, argumentation, assessment, proper citations, and overall writing style. In this course the student will develop and submit their final project proposal, including an extensive bibliography.
