MDM 632 Affective Spirituality: A New Reformation

Compares and contrasts the three major historic streams of spirituality. Augustine's affective approach will shape our relational/affective hermeneutic and anthropology. A Trinitarian reading of the Word in Community will help to reorient our leadership to be a response to Christ's love in a way that better reveals Christ to the world. The nature of grace and the role of the Holy Spirit in Christian formation will be considered.
