MM 790 Chaplaincy Internship
A mentored ministry tailored to the student's ministry goals and supervised by both an experienced mentor in the field and an MBS faculty member. Supervision includes planning, instruction, discussion, and evaluation of the student in an area of ministry focus. An agreement is entered into between the mentor and student, specifically listing responsibilities and commitment.
This Chaplaincy course is taken in conjunction with the student's participation in a unit of certified clinical pastoral eduction (CPE). Such training programs are offered by several major hospital systems in the Portland area. Instead of serving in a church, in this course the student will be serving in a hospital setting.
MM 790 is for MDIV Chaplaincy students only.
