PSYC 402D Foundations of Counseling
An introduction to the theories and techniques used in the
counseling profession, with an emphasis on how faith influences
the practice of counseling. Students will learn through
reading, lecture, and discussion, as well as through experiential
activities that will allow students to practice listening skills,
asking questions, showing empathy, paraphrasing, giving
feedback, and following ethical standards.
