GLS 660 Trauma in the Humanitarian Context
This course surveys the impact of trauma in the humanitarian context, including strategies to promote resilience, healing and trauma sensitive interventions. The integration of Christian faith in understanding and responding to trauma is emphasized, addressing the relational, physiological, and spiritual impacts of trauma. Emphasis is placed on maintaining a Christian witness and Christ-centered transformation in the lives of individuals and their communities.
