Master of Divinity, Theological Studies track
Multnomah's Master of Divinity program also offers an emphasis in Theological Studies. We recognize that God's people are wired in a variety of ways. Some students prefer and are called to serve with a focus on teaching and research, and/or plan to pursue further education. This 82-credit hour track provides the coursework and outcomes to accommodate this preference.
Students in this track have a curriculum with more course work in biblical languages, bible, and theology. The track still requires courses that cover personal spiritual formation and important practical dimensions of ministry.
If a student plans to pursue advanced studies for a terminal degree, Th.M. or Ph.D., we recommend that they speak with the program chair for M.A. in Theological Studies or the M.A. in Biblical Studies, respectively.
