LIN 542 Culture, Language and Instructional Practice

This course is designed to explore the connections between language and culture through the field of sociolinguistics. Students will explore culturally responsive teaching by understanding cultural dimensions and cultural identity. This course will also review the diversity of comparative educational systems. These themes will all be connected to practical teaching strategies and implications for language teaching and learning.
